SMASH Pedagogical Framework Report In this report, we provide an overview of the pedagogical framework that guided the SMASH program. The pedagogical framework was developed jointly by the pedagogical and technical experts in the consortium, in order to guide the design of the parent-trainer training course and its accompanying resources and, consequently, of the infrastructure and services for the dedicated information base that will support the project activities and outputs. This framework, which was revised based on feedback gained through the pilot delivery of the parent-trainer training course and the follow-up parent training workshop, provides expert and practitioner recommendations for best practice in parent training in mathematics and science education through combined use of eLearning and physical meetings. It incorporates both pedagogical and technical considerations regarding the effective delivery of online parent-trainer training in mathematics and science education.
